Preparation for textile and surface design in the fashion industry:
- Fashion trend forecast
- Style advisor
- Material design
- Colour design
- Fashion computer-aided design
- Textile stylist
- Accessory stylist
- Knit stylist

The certificate of Textile and Surface Designer is a diploma awarded by a jury of professionals of the fashion world, for the successful completion of our three-year programme and a final skills assessment.

Duration: 3 years
28 hours of class per week (and additional personal work)

Admission: Baccalaureate or baccalaureate level in applied arts or plastic arts or preparatory year for entrance to art schools.
There will also be a motivation interview including the presentation of a portfolio with personal artistic works.
Direct admission to second year of studies is possible depending on the personal portfolio and on previous education.

The textile surface designer has an essential role in the world of fashion.

He seeks to obtain the fibres, materials, patterns and colours for the different fields of application:
Textile prints for fashion and furnishing, wallpaper, fashion and home accessories, knits, stationery, surfacing, tiling…

Working as a stylist, designer or colourist, the textile and surface designer advises and helps the editors and manufacturers with the conception of their products.
His ideas, projects and maquettes orientate and personalize their production.
Salaried or self-employed, the textile designer works in a firm, a style agency or a creation workshop.
